Southwest Art: A Story of Tradition and
Change
This exhibit
concentrates on the artistic revival and changes among various Pueblos
and the Navajo from prehistory to modern times. The exhibition focuses
on the pottery, jewelry, and textiles of the American Southwest. It
features the Morgan Collection of Pueblo Pottery, which can be viewed on
our website under virtual exhibitions, and the Mullen Collection of
Southwest Jewelry. The Morgan collection contains fine examples of
pottery made by many of the best known Southwest potters. The exhibition
also includes a nice selection of Navajo rugs and Hopi textiles.
